Bawjiase Area Rural Bank PLC was established on 25 August 1984 and is fully authorized by the Bank of Ghana to operate as a rural bank.
The Bank subsequently obtained full authorization from the Bank of Ghana to operate as a rural bank within its designated catchment area.
Since its inception, the Bank has achieved steady growth in total assets, deposits, and profitability, while expanding its branch network to improve service accessibility. Over the years, it has gained recognition as one of the leading rural banks within the Central Region and Ghana at large.
